Honored Beyond Words at the 2024 ANOC Awards

I am deeply humbled to receive the Contribution to the Olympic Movement Award at the 2024 ANOC Awards. It’s a privilege to be recognized among the incredible athletes, teams, and National Olympic Committees that inspire us all.

While I regret not being able to attend the ceremony in Cascais, Portugal, my heart was there, celebrating the remarkable achievements of our Olympic family. My sincerest gratitude goes to Mr. Gene Sykes, Chairman of the USOPC, for graciously accepting this award on my behalf and delivering such a heartfelt speech. Your words truly reflected the passion and commitment that fuel my work in the Olympic Movement.

To everyone at ANOC, the International Olympic Committee, and beyond, thank you for this incredible honor. It reaffirms my dedication to advancing the values of Olympism, equality, and opportunity for all.
